New... Just wanted to post pictures
Hey guys.... new here and wanted to post some pictures of my car. Hope these work.
http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k6...r/DSC_0448.jpg Front- 235/50 Toyo Proxes 4 tires on 18 x 8 AMP TSUKUBA Rear- 255/45 Toyo Proxes 4 tires on 18 x 9.5 AMP TSUKUBA The car rides different, but I've not even taken it out yet. I drove it from the shop back home and its been in the garage since. Anyway, I really like it and thought I'd throw a photo up in case anyone else was looking at this type wheel/tire combo. |

Looks good, nice and clean.

RE: New... Just wanted to post pictures
For some retarded reason this forum uses case sensitive criteria for linking images. The upper case [IMG] tags that photobucket uses has to be changed to lowercase [img] for the picture to link correctly.
It looks good. What rims are you running? http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k6...r/DSC_0448.jpg |
RE: New... Just wanted to post pictures
she's screaming for a lowering kit, nice ride man

RE: New... Just wanted to post pictures
Thanks guys... wife and I really like it.
Pantera, I'm running Les Schwab (west coast tire store) AMP- TSUKUBA wheels. They are exclusive to Les Schwab, but their made in China like most are. The set up cost me $1925.00, including the lug nuts. Tsukuba is a race track in Japan, but I'm not sure if that is where they got the name from??? Satin, Can't afford a kit now. I doubt I'll go that route, as I really like it as is. Thanks!!! |

[sm=smiley20.gif] Looks great.
It's funny to me that everybody now-a-days want to lower their cars when back in the muscle car era everybody wanted to jack the back end up. IMO I think rear of the s197 could used lowered a little bit but simply personal preference. But for the money, I'll never do mine either. Post more pictures if you'd like, we all like pictures, especially a clean one :( this time of the year. :D:D:D [:@] Mine is covered in salt right now! [:@] |

The rear pic looks mean with the wider tires. |
RE: New... Just wanted to post pictures
Welcome parched_son! Your car looks nice!
Are you considering dual exhaust? That will make the rear end of your car look even meaner! [sm=gears.gif] |
RE: New... Just wanted to post pictures
Love the color choice! Enjoy ;)

05MustangSally,
Where did you get your turn signals? I've been wanting something like that bad. I've never understood why you have red for a turn signal color AND brake color. Please let me know. Thanks, ps |
RE: New... Just wanted to post pictures
I agree! But unfortunately, that is just the way the camera flash made it look for some reason. I've got asked a few times where I got my rear turn signal lights lol. It's be nice if they really had some like that. Thank you though :D

RE: New... Just wanted to post pictures
welcome to the dream. i recommend painting the rockers, mirrors and grills. it will save you a lot of time detailing the car and it looks 10x better. i like the redneck rake and i can drive it anywhere i want to worry free. ive had lowered cars in the past and they can be a pain in th a$$. ill wait on the stang until i can get the new AIRride suspension for adjustability.

^ haha...i'm not the only one who decided cleaning that black plastic crap was a pain in the ass and painted it then :D

RE: New... Just wanted to post pictures
Using turtle wax ice on the rockers does wonders (for those who recommend painting them).

RE: New... Just wanted to post pictures
It is true as I have to change all of mine to have them show from photobucket. (I use them all the time and it is only for img links!) J

J ORIGINAL: Pantera72 ORIGINAL: 28HopUp From what I've read before, the case sensitive issue only applies to images hosted by photobucket. First of all to the folks who post humongous photos, did you know on photobucket you can edit your photo to be used on message boards and forums? Choose the "re-size" option after you click on Edit. I use that feature before I post a picture here. The next step, I highlight and copy the "Direct Link", then come here, click on the top icon on the far right of the box up top (Add Image), because I have Norton, a message always pops up saying, "This website is using scripted window to ask you for Information...blah, blah, blah, " Just highlight that message and click on "Allow", then I click on the icon again and a link box will appear. I have to delete the http:// before pasting the link because the link already has "http://" in it. I hope this makes sense and helps some of you. This photo of the Lincoln concept car, I took at a local auto show; http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...s/DSC_0028.jpg |
