In the next couple of weeks I want to buy/have a turbo/supercharger installed. However, me being the nub I am to FI, I would like your opinions. I want the best system and brand that will provide power through all ranges. And a nasty sound isn't too bad either[8D]. What do you guys think will best suit my needs

 

powerhouse 411 turbo, most power, least stress on the engine

 

really most power and least stress on the engine ? where can people get powerhouse turbos at ? and for what price

 

I got a vortech and it works great when it's not broken!!! haha yeah my vortech is broken right now and is back at vortech so I can't even drive da mamba!!!! I would go turbo but I am going to tell you supercharger cause I want to be faster than you. hahaha

Sounds like a great setup! more room for it than the GT as well!

 

It's not the least stress on the engine. That's determined by the PSI you run. Any blower running at 4-6 PSI is the least stress, any blower at 14 PSI is the most. Powerhouse has popped engines, just like every other blower when you push the boost too high.

 

yeah and as far as sick sounds i'd look at the x. the scream of it literally sends chills through your body. its so sick. very streetable and reliable. and no tapping the oil pan if im correct. its the simplest to install and imo, looks the best. once my warranty is out andi have nothing to worry about, imgettin one of those on my 6.

 

I meant less stress for the most power. 6psi with the PH turbo made 330rwhp (as I remember from the last dyno), while 6psi on an X or std Vortech makes 250rwhp.
