Traction control and ABS are a pair. You can't have one without the other. If your car didn't come with it,it will be VERY EXPENSIVE and very hard to install.

Do you mean like a button to turn the Traction Control on and off? Like my first mustang said, it's part of the Safety and Security Package that also includes ABS. I'm not sure it can be turned off and on, if that's what you mean. Besides if it works the ways it's supposed to, I'm not sure you'd have enough time to react fast enough to activate it when you really needed it.

There is a button on the dash so that you can turn TC off. So that it doesn't limit the power to the tires (hope I said that right). More or less, for doing burn outs.

If you turn the ignition off, then back on, it automatically defaults back ON.

And I'm wondering if you could actually install it. If you could, I would be scared of the numbers.

It would probably cost the difference on a trade of your current car to one that came with it.

I have traction controll on my 05. Whatit does is apply brake to the wheel that is spinning. this is much different from a posi rear end, A lot of people get the two confused. So if you floor it and a wheel does start to spin, the tc actually applies brake to that tire to try to stop it form spinning. I think it sux and I turn it off every time I get in the car. Well not in the winter. It is the worst thing you can have in a race car.

Traction control is great for the winter and those rainy days. I keep it off on nice days though.
