I need to get a 91 octane tune for my SCT xcal 2 and the companies I keep seeing in the forum is VMP, Brenspeed, and Bama. Which one is the best for a 91 octane tune? Thanks for your help...

 

Tough question, because everybody will respond saying "x" tune is the best, because that's what they have. I've tried 2 of the companies you mentioned and my choice for all around driving is my VMP 93 tune.

You'll be hard pressed to find anyone who has a tune from VMP, Brenspeed, Bama or a few others, say anything but good things about their tunes. Go with any one of these guys and you will be fine. THere is no best, and likely no way to determine the best. There is only the best "tier" of programmers, of which all the previously mentioned are members.

 

They're all good tunes. You can't go wrong with any of those.

At bamachips they have a 91 performance tune and a 91 torque tune whats the difference? i know noob question

 

if you got a little extra cash, figure what style of performance you want then see what each shop offers. bama offers a torq tune, vmp offers a mpg tune, etc. i currently have Bama 87 perf, 91 Torq & 91 Race. I would be interested in trying a VMP tune but i have a diablo programmer and justin doesnt work with them. doesn't really matter to me too much cuz my bama tunes are doing me just fine.
