Default first servicing

So its nearly 5k miles and time to head back to the dealership. I've installed a CAI and got a tune on it. What would you guys suggest doing, replace it with the stock intake and stock tune? or just go to the dealership with everything and just let them know what i did to the car? Thanks

if your just going for an oil change, i guess you should be fine the way it is. if you are uncertain, put back the stock tune and intake. C&L sells a "no-tune" insert that goes inside the MAF housing which allows you to safely run the C&L without a tune. before my C&L i had an aem and would just reflash to the stock tune and leave the intake in but that cai was "no-tune-required" so i need to get that insert from C&L.

I'd go back stock if it were me. It depends on the dealer, but some will document in their system the changes you have made and Ford will ream you if deemed plausible in the future.

Spend the 15-20 minutes going back to stock and put your mind at ease. Or change your oil/filter yourself and don't worry about it. That is all that needs to happen at 5k anyways.

I was just thinking about doing something like that so I wouldn't have to change the CAI out every time I went back to the dealer. Do you know if the SLT CAI has an insert like the insert for the C&L?

Change the oil/filter yourself and keep the receipts as proof.

Oh ok, I mean I already changed the oil myself at 3k miles, so I suppose this 5k checkpoint is unnecessary altogether?? Either way, switching back to the stock should be a cakewalk

If you changed the oil then the 5k checkpoint is completely useless.
