The reason his stock GT is faster than your modded V6?

He has two more cylinders and alot more HP and torque andyou need more mods than CAI.
CAI= about 25 or somore horses added to your car with a good tune...
translation= you still have a good ways to go....a goooood ways.

Yup, I'd have to agree with the boards consensus...Either he modded some parts on that and has not revealed so, or all the factors determining the efficiency of the engine were optimally arranged off the line thus yielding more HP.

It's either a factory freak or he's hiding something. Or it's tuned and he doesn't even know.

Your older brother could be better on the shifting than you... when you said "it seems to keep up with my CAI/tuned pony" were YOU driving it?....or messing around and racing with your brother a little? Which ones are manuals and automatics? Where is your tune from?

My bad ....youmentioned a CAI in your sig, but no tune. Your brother might have a pony with a CAI and a good tune and not even know it. He will know it when his battery goes dead, and his tunes revert back to stock and his car starts running lean. (wonders) I think this happens with tuned cars and I'm going to post about it to see if it is true or not.

Factory Freak is also a possibility.
