Quick dual exhaust install question
Splitting? It's plastic not fiberglass. The guys at the shop who installed my duals charged me $200 and that included cutting the bumper. They said it was very easy to do.
They used this template below;

Cutting the bumper is very easy to do with the help of the template from PYPES. I used a utility knife and finish it off using sandpaper to smooten the edges. Then applied a touchup paint.
I just love the look of the v6 bumper.

for you guys who cut it your self and used the template, did you cut the pass. side any bigger? when we put the muffler on the pass. side it looked like it was way too close to the bumper and the ninosport stuff came with a template for the pass. as well as drivers side and the pass. side one was actually bigger than the existing hole so i widened the whole on the pass. side just wondering if anyone else did this or if they just kept it the same

i cut mine myself with a sharp box cutter razor. i did mine before Pypes ame out with their template. i just measured the width and distance from the factory notch on the pass. side and duplicated it on the driver side. muff shop charged me $100 even for the installation which consisted of them straightening out the pipes to be dead on and to tack weld all the fittings throughout the pipes. they did this in about an hour. $2-300 is pretty high, JMO.
