Well I want a CAI bad!! But I'm not sure whether to get the C&L with bama tune, or the AIRRAID CAI. Which is better? The airraid says it doesnt need a tune and it'll be a lot cheaper. Is the C&L CAI much better than the airraid? Or is there only a slight difference?

 

The C&L will be at a higher performance than the airraid but then again you can always get a tune on the airraid later.....

im happy with my c&l i did it in steps though, bought a tuner then cai. i havent heard much about the airaid but im sure you be happy with eather

 

I got my C&L with a tune. It works like a champ. It sucks like a $50.00...It justdoes it's job well.

 

idk, i got my C&L through brenspeed and loving it. i keep reading it's the tune that matters, so i think as long as you get a tune you should be ok.

but in my personal preference, the C&L looks much better than any of the other CAI's out there

 

What ever you do just dont buy a BBK. They claim you dont need a tune but you will. As long as you get a c&l with tune or an airaid you should be ok. I had ordered the BBK and it made my cel come on and caused 2 lean codes to come up so I returned it.

 

The Airaid works great IMO I love it! I'm sure it be just as badass witha tunelike howarmat said, its the tune that matters!

 

I've heard alot of good things about C&L. I have a AEM brute force CAI and I'm satisfied with it....If your are going to get a CAIas a perfomance mod, dont be too impressed. A tune is a must with any kind of CAI. Its like paying for a massage without a happy ending.....it ain't worth it. My xcal 3 with vmp tunes is comming in a few days

 

+1 to "its all in the tune" Ive had the C&L, J&L, K&N and now I have justins VMP which is just the bigger maf and filter......no difference honestly. But as far as looks go.......the C&L is one of the best looking out there.
