Default Massive Mod list

Right now I'm putting money aside just for my Stang and i plan on doing a bunch of modsin August-September '09. I'm notplanning on building a track car, just a daily driver that's a beast (powerful with good handling)! Here's my list so far:

Performance Mods

Hi-Po X-Charger
Gauges (the one Torch Vert has)
Strut tower brace
Sway bars
8.8 Rear w/ 3.73 Gears
Aluminum driveshaft
GT Take Off Brakes
LCA’s (Lower Control Arms)

Appearance Mods

Foose Rims

Saleen 200 MPH Speedometer
Interior accents
Black turn signals
Antennae delete
HID kit
Door Sills
Shelby GT Front bumper
GT Rear Bumper
The Grille That's On Shelby GTs
FRPP Duals w/ x-pipe & Ford Racing GTA axle backs
4’’ exhaust tips
Side stripe delete
Engine dress up
Gas strut hood lift kit
Arm rest cover
Head rest cover (the one Torch Vert has)
Foose Rims

I just have a few questions:

1) After thorough research, I've decided that FRPP Duals are the best for my taste. I want my Stang to sound like this: http://www.aeon365.com/uploads/frpp_clip.avi
Ilove that deep tone!! Do u think that car has a set of LT headers because other FRPP's sound good but don't quite match that? It could just be the camera quality.

2) I'm definitely going to get the X-Charger, butI want to know if it would be wise to get Foose 20 inch rims also. I already have 17's and it would be a waste IMO topay for18's when i could use that money on another mod. But i'd like to know if any of youguys think 20's wouldcancel outsome of the power from the x-charger by much (noticable difference) or if it would be a problem. Again, I want performance and looks.
I checked in this thread and most of the 20' owner say that it hasn't bothered their perfomance but i just want to get more opinion b4 i make this move

THANX FOR ALL THE HELP!! I've been reading info on these mods for about 2-4 hours a day for the past few weeks to get a better understanding of my car

If your car is a 5-spd stick, then I suggest buying the k-member brace and torque-limiters. And if you want 20's then get 'em. You said it yourself that you're not building a track car, and the X-Charger will more than compensate for the add'l rotating weight.

No that car does not have LT headers, because it's my car That was right after I finished installing them, it actually has a deeper lower grumble now, but you will definitely love the sound of the FRPP kit.

And as far as the 20"s, you will most definitely feel a loss in power by going to 20"s anyone who says you won't is crazy, they weigh more and thus take more power to rotate the larger heavier mass. It may not be a lot, but a friend here has 20" shelby torque thrust and he can feel a noticable difference at the track. He now runs 18"s at the track.

And than you will mod your Vette and regret it that you didn't buy a Viper. Than you'll mod that and regret it...

You changed your mind 12 times over with that car.

lol^ To be honest i was planning on joiningthe darkside (waiting and getting a 2010 Camaro by trading in my Stang and putting money with it). I even went as far as becoming an active member on their site. Its gonna be a great car but after long consideration, i felt guilty for wanting to trading in my baby.

me personally i would opt to redo the whole suspension. complete with polyurethane bushings. i got the stage 2 BMR kit on order right now. but since i'm deploying to iraq again, it's going to have to wait till i get back b4 i put it on.

as well you should have! lol j/k

that is quite the list! I think you will be quite happy with your car after all that. If I were you, I'd do the performance/handling mods first, and follow them with the appearance mods
