Default Getting along

hey everybody, long time no see. Ive been working and **** mostly keeping me from here but im back now. K well on my way home yesterday my right front tire popped. Literally just popped. The construction along the side of the road has been spilling all sorta sharp **** out into the road and i fell victim to one such piece. Well I pull over after the rest of my tire pretty much peels off and im drivin on the rim for a few yards. Change tire and make my now pissed off way home. Well im going about 50 mph cause of the donut im ridin on and ppl are just rude. Passin me and giving me dirty looks and im like "hey my tire damnit" but this gt pulls beside me. Its a dude that i have seen in the area and raced with at the stop light a few times. Well he lookin at me like "wtf" and i point in the general direction of my tire and he spots it. Now normally other ppl wouldnt give a damn but this guy actually escorts me home. He freakin gets behind me and slows down aswell to keep ppl from riding my *** and makes sure i get home alright. Well we arrive and my wounded pony limps into the garage and he is just waiting on the street. I go up and thank him and what not and he even offers to take me to the tire shop down the road. I accept and we basically get the tire go back and fix it. I ask him why he did it and said he was a christian and i was a fellow stang rider and that he would hate to have his favorite opponent outta commission.

So i know theres some bad blood between the two gt's and v6's but there are actually some good ppl out there. Imagine that.

lol.. you have to remember GT owners aren't species of a whole different race... they are just people who are willing to throw about $5 g's more into buying their car... but great story

Good stuff.

Last week I stopped at a red light smack-dead next to a Saleen. Both our windows just happened to be rolled down, so now my ***** are in my @ss and I debated in my head to even look over or not, suspecting that he's just going to give me ****. But I looked over and he smiled and gave a wave, which I presumed was a gesture that he's about to smoke me even when I wasn't trying to race, just because some guys like to pound their chest and **** on walls. But I waved back and said, "Absolutely beautiful Saleen!" He said thanks and added, "Nothing is better than driving a Mustang!"

The comment revealed that he wasn't discriminating between models but was just appreciative to see another Mustang. But here is the real kicker: When the light turned green, he waited for me to start rolling, then he moved but stayed behind me until I turned off an exit. In the rearview mirror I saw him wave, and then I heard him punched it under the bridge. The echo of the Saleen left its mark in my head for the rest of the drive.

Mustang owners are basically the best people in the world. That's what I have learned from this thread.

Sadly, I needed to fix your quote -

ORIGINAL: AMoRT

90% of all Mustang owners are basically the best people in the world. That's what I have learned from this thread. It's the other 10% you need to watch out for!
