pypes system how to????

I havent bought the so dont tell me to ad the instructions please i dont have them lol but i was under the car looking and there is no clamps and the cats so how do you connnect these pieces together if you h a picture of yours please post? I assume you take a hack saw to em or im not sure???

Correct, you have to cut the Y pipe out to fit the X in place. Measure and cut properly! I took a few pictures while the shop was installing mine - the only difference is that I have the FRPP X rather than the Pypes so it is a little different - your cut will be further forward because I believe that the Pypes X has the hangers so you will have to cut in front of the hangers from the down pipes. And I welded my X in place rather than using the clamps that go from 2.25" to 2.5".

Look at the top picture - one side is longer than the other so the X won't just slide in, you have to cut. Plus the Pypes X pipe has the hangers on it so you have to measure and cut in behind the cats - the cats are not detachable and the Pypes has to be mounted to the cat downpipe. The only other way is to get the "off road" where you detach from the exhaust manifold and the off road pipe goes up in place of the down tube with cats.

good luck doing it with a hacksaw. you need a sawsall or a reciprocating saw. sawsalls are really small though. and the recip. saws are a bitch to use if youre on jacks/jackstands. no room to manuver...
