Default Cheap Mods

I read through how to do gears, exhaust, all of that stuff. I know there's some cheap mods out there. What do you guys recommend? It's a stock 07 with an auto.

Cheap like picking up a GT muffler from the JY, slapping a cone filter on the stock system (don't know if this works), stuff along those lines.

Also, I don't like the look of the stock auto shifter, are there any replacements?

Expensive mods like a tuner and CAI are coming, but cheap or free to do in the meantime to pep it up would be nice.

TB spacers are a gimmick. They don't do anything for performance.

Ya, I know most of the gimmicks out there, TB spacers, electic superchargers, that kind of junk. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Haha

remember that you get what you pay for....so cheap is not always good if you have to buy it twice

Ya, I don't mean cheap as in paying for crap instead of the extra buck for good stuff. Like on my Saturn, I could tilt the antenna back, and hide it in the A pillar. Removing the intake resonator made it sound better. On the 05 mustangs bypassing the TB heater helped cool the incoming air.
