Exactly. I use liberal amounts of caranuba-based detail spray.. and I like to wax. Would I have to wax around the stripes? I realized waxing over them would increase the shine.. but by how much? Also, how do vinyl stripes hold up to daily highway driving?

That's the only way I'd consider stripes on my car. My only question is: do the flat blacks require different care techniques than the shiny stuff we all know how to deal with?

Dont quote me but i believe the matte black vinyl stripes will remain matte if you wax your car with turtlewax ice. I havent waxed my car since i applied my stripes so i cant tell you for sure, but im 99% positive.

a ghost stripe or flames are very faint...you really dont see them till your up on the car.....hope this helps......incredibly subtle....do a search for ghost flames.....most people do ghost flames which is why im thinking a ghost stripe...you dont see a lot of that ya know....
