Default High flow cats : anyone have them?

i hate making decisions on something that has so little information and right now that's what I'm doing when trying to get a set of high flow cats for my v6. Can anyone recommend a set that sounds the best? I was considering either Mac or Easterns cats so far.

People do, but not very many.

Why? They make our cars sound horrible.

Also, our cats are 2.25" not 2.5"

So far Im aware of 2 people that have...

Im sure most cats sound bad but I bet there are a few that sound good, which is why I dont want to be left with ones that sound bad.

Im getting them because my HP goals involve longtube headers which dont work with the stock cats. It seems resonable to me to NOT make my car sound "horrible" as you put it while Im supposed to be 'upgrading' it...

I dunno man.

Everyone I know of that has high flow cats on their V6 hates them. It sounds OKAY at idle...but under acceleration sounds horrible. Just about as bad as our 6's do without cats.

I know a bunch of people that have done this mod and wish they wouldn't have.

Look into cut-outs...and then regular cats.

You could get you an Xpipe that already has cats, like the one Bassani makes

You need to hit a lot more forums than this to conclude the above. People that have run high flow cats that I know of...

-Ranebowcyxx
-Excepcion13 (Prochamber, MAC high flow cats, MAC lts)
-All powerhouse turbo customers
-Navbtcret (Stainless works headers and high flow cats)
-Boss245 I think
-Scrming

There are more I'm sure. The stock cats are restrictive.
