Default Decision Help

Hey guys I need some help with what to do Mod wise.

I'm going to eventually have all of the following mods:
FRPP dual exhaust
Either the BBK Silver Ceramic Performance Shorty Headers orPypes Performance SS V6 Shorty Headers
Maybe Gears and a T-Lok
C&L Intake and tunes from Brenspeed.

Which order should I put everything on the car in?

My financial common sense is telling me to go with the exhaust, headers, gears, and finally the intake and tune

but if I go with the intake and tune first and skip the gears will I need new tunes for the headers and exhaust?

THanks for the help!!!

I believe you will want to get a new tune, its not necessary but anyways I believe brenspeed gives you a few free tunes if you change your setup.

My take?

1.) C&L & X-Cal from BamaChips (better than Brenspeed...sorry, but it's true)
2.) FRPP Dual Exhaust
3.) Gears & T-lok
4.) Headers

Doug offers free updates on his tunes at any time, you just have to let him know.

However, you won't need a tune for your exhaust or headers.

You will need an adjustment for your gears, but you can do that yourself as an optional parameter.

i am kind of in the same boat. i have already got the intake and exaust without a tune. i hear you should get the tune after you get your common bolt on mods because they can tune for those mods and make you get even more out of the common tune.

Thanks for the tips guys. Now I'll have to dig into Bama or Brenspeed. I was leaning Brenspeed because they are located an hour from my house so if I ever wanted to get a dyno tune I could go back to them.

I didn't know that both of the companies would update tunes however if you upgraded the car. Thanks again
