Do they have to be welded as well?

It probably would be better to weld because when my brother and cousin had them put on their trucks it was welded.

Which it sounds great on so I was wondering what it would be like on a six.

I've heard some clips off Youtube and they sound very nice actually, for those that do have them any issues with them at higher RPMs? (I.E ricey sound)

I don't have any sound clips of mine, but i did get them welded on, wanted the best seal and for them to last. They do sound a lot better at lower revs, its not bad at high, but starts to sound a little ricey if you rev really fast. People either think i have a v8 or say it sounds really good for a v6...
