how fast would my 2005v6 be with a super charger? like qmile and 0-60 times...

would it make more sense to take the money i would spend on a super charger and just get a GT or would the v6 be faster than the GT with the SC on it?

V6 with SC is faster but most people dont just slap a SC on right away so usually other mods help like CAI/tune, suspension, and if they plan to SC usually you get a GT takeoff rear end....

 

The roughly seven grand thats the difference b/w the sixxer and GT you can build a sixxer that will eat any stock GT or give a slightly modded gt a good run for their money. if the gt is SC'd then theres not much a sixxer can do about it.

 

If you slap a supercharger on a completely stock V6 you will have other issues.

There are supporting mods that are important, especially if you are going to track the car.

 

Get the V8 all the way

 

A friend of mine has built his V6 to be a sleeper and it's truley a beauty. I forget if he's running a vortech or procharger, but I do know this summer he's run 13.2 in the 1/4 and smoked me doing it. I think at the time he said it was dyno'd around 340+RWHP. Last week he took it to another tuner and spent the day on the dyno and got another 40hp out of it...so, this Friday we'll see what she can do. I'll update with results if I don't forget.

Without a doubt, if you S/C a v6 and do it right, you shouold be able to beat a stock GT and keep up with a lightly modded one.

 

340 rwhp + 40 more? wow....i think we would all like to know more details on what your friend has had done to it to get those numbers.
