Default Rough Idle at startup?

Okay I'm not sure how long this has been going on but I noticed it a few months ago. I moved down to Florida from Ohio and during the drive down I noticed the rough idle at startup. I thought maybe it was due to the heat it was like 90's at the time. Now it seems to happen every single time I start my car up.

When I start the car up it revs up a little bit and then the rpm's drop down and it either stalls out or is close to and then it will idle low until I put the car into drive. If I put the car into drive too fast then it will stall out. I almost have to start the car up while giving it gas to make sure it wont stall.

The negative terminal of the battery has battery acid on it and it's been like that since I bought the car. The lights never seem to dim down or anything like that and using a volt meter it shows 13.6v so I don't think the battery is the problem. Although I'm replacing that soon.

The only engine mods on the car are a C&B cold air intake and 8.5mm spark plug wires. Could it maybe be a vacuum leak?

I seafoamed the car prior to taking the trip 2 months ago should I try it again? Also my gas mileage seems to be really bad since I moved down here. I know the heat will burn more gas but I'm getting like 12mpg. I have 3.73 gears but that is just horrible.

One last question, my car should still be under warranty correct? I have a cai, wires, 3.73 gears and a tune. I would bring the tune back to stock and everything.

Thanks

It may be something as simple as cleaning the IAC and throttle body. It's under warranty until 2010

If you have a tunertry raising the idle up 50 rpm. I was in Florida last April and my car acted the same way. Put the idle up and everything was fine.

Okay I will try and raise the idle, I never thought about doing that. I'm going to take it into the dealer soon though and have them check it out. If they say everything is fine then I will just raise the rpm's.

Your mileage should'nt be that terrible.Fuel filter.Everything you are sayin points to that or the wires(including wiring order) or plugs.Did you ever change it after running seafoam thru the gas?I would have.

I just changed my fuel filter less then 500 miles ago. I changed the plugs a little bit ago but I will re-check the order. I've never changed my plugs I figured if the manual says they are good for 100k miles and I only have 20k then they should still be okay. I will take a look at them though.

No codes thrown? If you had a wire issue...you are going to get misfire codes.

Something is definately off though...that 12 mpg cannot be healthy (even with gears).
