Default Cleaning White Stripes?

I noticed 2 small black circles on my white factory "Mustang" stripes today. Only about 1-2 mm in diameter.

I haven't had any luck with several cleaners in removing them. Any suggestions.

Sandy, you would be so proud, Melody and I put about 130 miles on the Pony today in the North Georgia mountains.

The same thing happened to mines. I tried everything and nothing worked. So i tried with a DEGREASER and it worked but didn't like the idea of using degreaser on stripes so I used "fantastik orange cleaner" the only cleaner that works for me so far.. oooo and after you clean them try to wax your stripes as it helps to keep them clean for a longer period of time and protects them, plus is easier to clean them next time.. good luck.

Oh my Barry, so does that mean you only have 600 miles now on your stang?

I haven't noticed any discoloration on my stripes yet. The car does have to sit outside but I do keep a car cover on it. It never gets driven in the rain so since Dec. '06 I have never washed the car. It stays clean and I keep polish and wax on it.
As far as cleaning the stripe that Fantastic stuff sounds good. I wonder if Simple Green would work too? Once you have it cleaned (it's probably Mildew) use some spray wax detailer from Meguiar's. I usually keep Aerospace 303 Protantant on it. They use it on boats.

Did you check your gas mileage to see what you get? I haven't taken mine out on the highway yet for any long trips.

Take em off, gives the car a nice clean look. I did and I do not regret it one bit, neither does my wife

When I have stuff that doesnt seem to want to come off my stripes I use scratch remover and it comes right off.
