Default Inspection / Tune / CAI

I thought I read something a while back about having to remove your CAI/Tune before going to get an inspection done. Anyone have information about this?

My guess would be no. You would have to remove it to get warranty work done though.

I found the previous thread I was refering too, it had to do with the O2 sensors being turned off on the brenspeed tune.

Oh well I will find out next month when I get it inspected, I don't feel like changing it all out.

The only reason it wouldnt pass is if the rear O2 sensors are turned off. I have my xcharged v6 inspected last week.

Ticket... and they check regularly. In Texas not getting inspection done is just as bad as not getting your registration renewed. They have bicycle cops in Houston that hang out at intersections just to look at your registration/inspections stickers which are on the windshield, and will wave you over and ticket you if it is out of date.

Give Doug a call and have him make you an emissions friendly tune.

The last time I was in TEXAS way back in 76 the Cops were 12' tall 4' wide and armed with 44 mags That would look weird on a Bicycle unless they have downsized the cops there LOL everything is BIG in TEXAS
