the title pretty much sums it up, I've fallin in love with that gt500kr hood, but every picture i've seen of it the person has the shelby frontend as well.

Will the gt500kr hood FIT a stock v6 stang or do they make one that will? or do i need to get as complete shelby frontend before i get the hood?

 

You need to have the shelby front end, otherwise the hood will hit the dividers between the headlights and grille and the hood will not close.

 

Trufiber makes a replica that fits the regular front ends, called the GT-S or something like that. It might look a little goofy though without a more aggressive front bumper.

 

Also i think cervini makes the hood for gt front ends but its probably a bit more pricey.

 

You need a shelby frontend for the kr hood

 

SHELBY WONT SELL THE KR to the public you have to own it and show ownership accoording to them.. so you will need to get a replica hood.

 

This is the True Fiber (goofy looking) one but I like it.

I'm not saying the hood looks funny, i'd love to have a venom hood on my car, just that it might look a little weird with that hood and a V6 bumper
