Default Twin Turbo Question

I have an '08 V6, and want to put a twin turbocharger into it. problem is the only ones available are for GT's. would I be better waiting to see if one comes out for the V6, or go ahead and go for the V8, even though I will need to mod the engine?

As in go for the V8, do you mean get the twin kit for the GT? No do not do that because it will not work with your 4.0L. The turbos will be the wrong size and most likely the piping won't fit. I kinda doubt a twin kit will come out for our cars because a correctly sized single will make just as much power without pushing the limits on the motor.

just have a custom twin turbokit if you really want one.

twin turbo kits are over rated, a proper single turbo kit will perform just as well as a proper twin turbo kit.

Well if you build the engine to go with that twin turbo setup it will put your single turbos to shame. It just depends how much you wanna push it. Plus just for me, I like my duals and that twin turbo sound

Grabber, could you put something up or a diagram or something on how your turbos are routed and how they are set. Basically what I am saying is will you put something up for me to look at to see how I will eventually do it

Thanks. If you go to turbochargers.com - gallery - customers cars - Ford V6 TT it will show you some of the build on the car.
