Default Stupid Turner Question

If i'm installing a Cold Air Intake does the car have to be tuned? I kept thinking yes then i have a friend who is saying the car doesn't need it.

depends on what CAI. Most have to be tuned. I think either AFE or AEM make a CAI that supposedly doesn't need to be tuned.

yeap you do need a tuner for that one.. if your CAI pipe is the same diameter as the factory one ( where the sensor goes) then you don't need a tuner, but if the pipe is bigger ( like JLT Performance Cold Air Intake wish is like 3" ) then yes you need a tuner.

You need a tuner and a tune.
A CAI without a tune is a worthless upgrade/mod.
