Default Tech Question

For about the past 6 months my V6 Manuel stang will randomly rev up while in neutral if the car is moving, normally while coming to a stop or going freeway speeds. I tried taking it in for warranty but keep telling me there is nothing wrong with it and now the warranty is over and I was wondering if anyone here might have a clue as to what is going on or if you have the same problem

could be IAC or TPS, I have even heard that low coolant level or faulty thermostat could cause this

does that to me too...mine only goes to about 2100rpm. Doesn't happen much anymore...but I shift down to second now when I stop, maybe 3rd if im lazy. I used to leave it in forth and just go to neutral and it would always rev up, so i downshifted when I come to a complete stop and it didn't do it as much anymore

my stang use to do that as well, I just figured it was the car computer adapting to my new car tune so it would rev it up to get more gas in. But, it doesn't do it anymore. soo I dont know.

I thought it was the comp to since it did it all the time even though the car was stock. Put on the X Pypes exhaust, JLT CAI with a SCT 91 Performance tune last month and it still does it. Its very random too. You can never count on it happening when you take it in for someone to look at it.

Mine does it too, but also sporadically, when I'm coasting to a stop.
Love that drive by wire.
