Default Rear Shocks

I have a 2005 Mustang. I have replaced the rear springs with roush rear lowering springs about a year now. I am starting to hear a thumping noise everytime I go over a bump. Does this sound like rear shocks? If so what should I replace them with (aftermarket)

I would recommend replacing the factory shocks/struts if you have aftermarket springs.

I have the matching Roush rear shocks.
The OEMs wear out rapidly after a lowering
spring installation. Worn out shocks dont 'pop'.
I would first check for proper orientation of the springs.
The spring pig should rest where the OEM spring
pig did and you should be able to read 'ROUSH'
on the spring without standing on your head.
Did you cut your bump stops when you did the spring install?

Thanks
I will get the rear springs and shocks checked. Any other suggestions on after market rear shocks?

Are those HP or D Specs?

I have the Roush springs sitting on the bench and plaaned to throw them on while replacing the rearend. The plan was to go with the OEM shocks for a bit. I had Koni adjustables on a previous car and honestly the adjustable part seemed to be a waste, basically I only used them for seasonal temperature differences. For that reason I was leaning towards the Roush or HP's and the HP's are a bit cheaper.

I have the tokico d-specs and the adjustable part was a life savers for me, since i run wide staggered wheels in the rear, I set the adj. rears to stiff so they rubber wouldn't rub on the fenders.

I noticed the word Roush on the springs is upside down . Were the springs installed wrong and if so can I change them around to wear the word Roush reads straight up?
Any info on installing these spring properly.
Hope it's not too late!!
