Default Grille ?'s

So yesterday i hand my little brother the keys to the stang so he can park it downstairs and leave the upper drive way open for a party we were gonna have. After he was done he told me that the lower grille insert had popped out a couple inches on the right side. Could this be a problem i should look into? I've been looking into getting a whole new grille anyways and was also wondering how hard it is to take a pony package grille off, and replace it with another grille. Thanks guys.

so im assuming you have the pony package grille? is it damaged? if its not, many will pay you for it, many gt owners agree that its the best looking stock grille.

if its just the lower grille should pop right back in. It tends to happen when run over curbs and stuff the lower one will pop out. The clips should push right through a couple of slots. Not sure how hard pp grille is to take off though seeing as I don't have one.

Ya it did push back in pretty easy. and i agree on the pony grille looking good just wanted to know how hard they are to come off incase i ever feel like a change, ya know. I saw a pony package grill overlay that i was thinkin about but i've only seen one bad picture of it and havn't really found any feed back on the net about it.

It's nothing at all to remove the grilles, they're attached with little plastic tabs that hook into slots in the bumper cover. Remove the plastic radiator cover and you'll see what I'm talking about. If you just apply a little pressure to the plastic grille tabs it'll pop right out.

Mine has popped out one time shortly after I got it. Pushed it right back in and two years later it is still in place.

I parked too close to the curb at the bank once and backed up and heard a scrape so i checked it out and my lower grille was out. it just pushes back in but check it every now and then because my old sixxer bumper had that problem alot

I'm not sure if you guys have like super hand strength but my grill wouldn't come off. I had to remove my whole bumper and use a screwdriver as leverage to get my grill off. After I popped a few of them out then it just came right off.

Im actually looking at same grille you have. I think they look pretty sharp. As for Avalanch that sucks.
