Default need advice

as mentioned before, an old lady hit my car and now i need a new passenger fender and bumper. The insurance company gave me a check for 2018 dollars today.

I could just get a fender from ford and a new take off gt bumper for about 450 total. Of course I would have to paint the fender. (which makes me ask, is it best to paint a bumper off or on a car? They say the will have to "blend" my door when they paint the fender...)

I could get a roush bumper w/spoiler for about 800.. shipped
I want to also get a gt rear bumper and side scoops

any ideas? with links?

questions
1. is the quality of these bumpers so that not alot of prep is needed? as in lots of sanding and fixing flaws?
2. can the bumper be painted off the car or is it recommended to paint on the car?

Why would they have to blend the door if it wasn't damaged or involved ?

well, thats why im asking.

from what 3 shops told me, you will be able to tell the fender was painter separately from the rest of the car.

Well the door is currently the same color as the rest of the car .What if they mess with the door and that doesn't come out right ?

They may have meant that they wanted to color match the door... they wouldnt touch it just if the car is a few years old the color changes slightly. If they want to paint the door go somewhere else!

Okay, lets recap the front Fascias

ROUSH

Shelby CS6

Saleen

All the other ones are crap IMO, these 3 are the best.

Best/Cleanest looking: Saleen
Most Unique: Shelby
Cheapest: Roush, you can buy one painted for $982

It's totally up to you though.

your paint fAdes over time and if they just painted the new parts you would be able to see the color mismatch. Especially at the seams. A good rule to follow on car repair is to get two or more opinions from good shops and get several opinions if you are still nsure goto them and ask them to explain. Remember there is no dumb questions.

Painted Roush front Fascia

It says it fits GT Cars only, but it shows up in the 2005-2009 V6 mustangs..
