Default 4.0 V6 Dual exhaust...price?

http://magnaflow.com/02product/shopdisplayproducts.asp

$700 seems a little pricy. The mufflers don't even look like mufflers?

What are yall paying to have dual exhaust systems put on your mustangs?

well, im sure the magnaflow folks will chime in...

700 isnt high for dual exhaust, i would think thats a average price. My setup JBA mids/H-pipe/Ford Racing Stingers setup cost me almost 1k, that was with me doing the installation...

If you are mechanically inclined, you will save yourself some $$. I paid $75 for two GT takeoff mufflers and $315.00 for Pypes X-pipe and mid pipes. Then I paid $200 for the shop to install them.
Prices will vary. You can expect to pay anywhere from $40-100 for GT takeoffs.

If I had to do it all over again, I would have gone with Ford's dual exhaust kit for the V6, but unfortunately at the time it was not offered.

$580 for the full FRPP kit with the GTAs. Sounds amazing...and looks factory with the finished edges. Install was $120.

I had a magnaflow dual exhaust put on my truck for $300, but that was a one muffler si/do setup. I guess maybe it just "seems" high. I'm only now beginning to price shop.

200 for h pipe
50 for over axle pipes
150 for mufflers
150 for installation
50 for new hangers

so around 600 give or take. with installation.

I paid 349.99 for everything on my pypes exhaust (offroad X over axle pipes and mufflers) I installed everything myself and paid 100 to have it all welded up....so I guess 450 is about right.

If you're on a budget, and not doing any performance
mods, after the dual look and sound, consider the
Ninosport reverse Y setup. Your stock system is
over 2 inch ID, mostly 2.5" and that matches the
Ninosport. $325 total including GT Takeoffs, and you're
good to go. Sounds good. If you insist on a true dual
system then FRPP is the way. Just my opinion, ask
and you'll receive a thousand different ones. Ninosport
is a bolt on, no cutting except the V6 bumper notch for second
tip, and tap the hanger holes already there.
