Default Bad luck with Mustang!

Well last friday I got rear ended by idiots not paying attention. The worst part is it was an off duty cop driving! . I went to get an estimate and its 2400$ but I am getting a GT rear bumper since duals are going on soon so at least I got a little upgrade out of it! I had another topic awhile ago saying a girlfriend of mine ran the car through a garage door. That ended up repainting 3/4 of the car, now this! Basically everything has been repainted/replaced except the trunk lid and spoiler! Hope this is the end of my bad luck
Now I got duals and bumper to look forward to!

That is awesome! I was going to get a full GT conversion when the chick ran the front through the door but since it was out of pocket money and not insurance, it didnt pan out too well

trade it in. get a different color. I had a sports car once, people drove into the back of it three times, shopping carriages rolled into it twice hard enough to stove in the door. The third time it got rear ended I sold it before the thing got me hurt.

Sorry for your troubles, better luck in the future. By the way, just curious, still got that girlfriend?

Yea if anything more happens then I will sell it.
On the lighter side the girl that ran it through the garage, is actually a friend, her identical twin sister is my real girlfriend lmao!

Are you sure it was her sister or she blamed her sister?

I got rear ended at a light and it was $1800
and 3 weeks of my time to get the job done
right. They had the repaint the bumper cover
3 times before the paint even started to match.
The intermediate exhaust pipe from the Y pipe, over
the axle to the muffler was bent down too far to repair.
That added to the $1300 initial estimate, sans muffler
pipe. After they cut my perfectly good GT M/T muffler
and positioned it to allow it to hang straight and meet
up with the accident bent intermediate pipe. They
then welded it kinda sloppy joe style. That didnt
fly with me and the next thing I knew I had a brand
new Ford GT AUTO muffler and OEM Ford intermediate
pipe. No cost for the muffler. This also didnt fly and
I was allowed to drive around with the AUTO muffler
until the M/T muffler came in. It took about a week
but it finally arrived and I installed it myself right there
in the parking lot. My original GT M/T muffler was OK
and not damaged in any way during the accident until
they went to cutting on it to make the muffler inlet pipe
align with the bent intermediate pipe and welding new
hanger rods onto it.
It took about 3K miles to get the new GT M/T muffler
broken in so it would sound right.
