yea its all pretty downhill from here. had a bunch of family distractions and of course the fellas comin over was fun. but i was in no hurry to get it done just havin some fun and was trin to teach scott a thing or two at times.
well were all done and hopfully in the morning doug will send the tune. it was fun and we actually just finished installing his old k n CAI on a guys car that stopped by. i hope you all enjoyed it
You also definitely seemed like you really knew what you were doing.
thanks, but just a regular guy with some wrenches. my job as a special effects tech and love of cars just makes me a tinkerer. It's kind of funny, when we installed mine (Dave and I ) it was over 3 years ago and Dave did most of the wrenching, i just helped. My unit was the prototype so Scott's has subtle changes. when we did the group install at my house that was 2 years ago or better and i just floated around. the funny thing is that i have never even read the instructions and come to find out neither had Scott! so i pretty much made that his mission, because i was pretty much goin in cold and i wanted him to keep me in line. but i keep going off target and doing parts of the install i remembered.
the bottom line was we took our time and had fun doing it. scott is a good guy and i was glad to help out those that help keep my family safe. the added bonus was that he has kit # 100 and I'm # 001.
hopefully when i return from church in a bit the tune will have arrived and we can fire her up!
