What does it take to get the six into the 13's? I don't care if it's 13.99, i just want 13's! Is it possible w/o going f/i?

(Zex N20 is acceptable though)

Boss244- Auto Coupe CAI, T, LTH, DE, DS, TL(4.10's), LCA, ASB, DR's, S, SP 13.81 @9x.xxMPH
Yes its possible without going FI. I got that from the sticky on the top of this forum Section.

Although for all of the money spent on doing Bolt-on's like those you'll end up being a bit short of FI... just personal preference I guess. Although IMO I think it would be way cooler to simply say "It's supercharged" rather then telling someone all of those other mods.

The easiest way to 13's is the 75 shot. I ran a 13.8 right away on my convertible (although I also have DR's, aluminum drive shaft, J&M LCA's).

You can do it NA, but it takes a lot of work and cash to get there.

i run 13's with my minimal performance mods. Go with the zex, so much fun at the strip. Me and my dad installed it in about 3-4 hours which isnt bad. However, before you go pull the trigger on the zex kit, you need other things along with it. Cost me about a total of $1200

So a full Zex kit alone should get me there?

If not, will cai, n20 (75), gears/posi, and a tune get me there on street tires?

I would look into some DR and an aluminum d/s if needed to get there.

I would get an Aluminum Drive shaft regardless because the stock one will not handle all of that "extra stuff" to the best of my knowledge.

I think that the Zex kit should get you there or pretty dang close...
However having N20 would be more of a pain then a leisure thing I would think because you've always gotta worry about that bottle sitting in the trunk -- it could explode -- if you get pulled over the cops if they saw that you had it would probably give you a hard time even though it is legal to have, but I dont think it's legal to use anywhere aside from the track.

I got 13.6 with a dyno tuned 100 shot, stock pnero tires, 3.73's, and TI intake. Its also doable on 75 shot.

Can also do it on low boost with centri, procharger and xcharger.
