GT Front Sway/End link question

GT Front Sway/End link question
I picked up a GT Front Sway bar and ordered some poly bushings for it recently, and I was talking to my friend who owns a mustang mechanic shop..
He said that if I was going to sway out the front sway bar I needed to swap out the end links.. which would set me back another $160.
My question to you guys running the GT Front Sway bars, did you re-use your OEM end links?
Also he said poly bushings were really needed in the rear, is that true?

Thats a big no one the end links.
The V6 and GT end links are the same OEM.
He just wants to sell you something??
Its a yes to the poly bushings
for the rear sway bar
if your sixer has one.
And polys in the
panhard bar as
well FTW.

front sway is a direct replacement. no other parts needed... trust us.
as for the rear, if you go that route, you will need the end link brackets which you can purchase through your local ford parts dealership or an online ford parts vendor. this is ONLY required if you don't have the pony package. PP already comes with a rear sway and appropriate hardware.

No you don't need end links. I got hardware from my dealership for both my front and rear sway bar. Although some people say its safe to reuse the hardware on the front, I bought new stuff because the Ford service manual recommends not reusing suspension hardware. Be prepared to spend a lot at the dealership though, the hardware isn't cheap.
