Will a Shelby front end fit on a V6?

Yeah I'm pretty much positive it's the same as swapping out a GT front end for the shelby.

There are quite a few V6ers on this forum who have the Shelby front-end. Pascal is one of them.

it's a lot of money and parts to get it done, need a new hood to fit the bumper, new headlights etc.

I might be able to pick one up pretty cheap, but was wondering if the was anything special.
I thought the hoods were different.
There is a local guy that has a hood.

the hoods are different but they both work with the front end. the only thing different for the v6 would be wiring and the switch for the fog lights if you dont have a pony package

Yes it fits. Call Kevin Casey and he'll hook you up.
Your looking at around $1700 + paint
The stock hood will work fine.

No sir, the OEM hood will work with it...
The Shelby hood won't work with the sixxer bumper or GT
That's the trick there.

Problem is with Ford parts, they go up all the time and then, it becomes obsolete.
So, anyone interested with the Shelby conversion has to know that the longer you wait, the more expensive it gets.

On a S197, the Cobra front is the sexier over anything else made out there for that car, period!
I went with the CS look first because it was dirt cheap when it came out...
The bumpers were $200 retail ($155 my cost), but I knew I'd go with the Cobra look soon or later.
I'm very sensitive to looks, so I don't compromise once I know what I want.

It would have been funnier if the dozens of us here that have done it had all posted "nope, it's not possible"
