Default installed zex.....question

Hey. Have the zex kit installed with a wot switch and rpm window switch. I'm running a 75 shot with dual exaust and intake. My tuner was stolen and I dnt have the extra cash to buy another tuner and tune.

Will I be ok with the 75 shot with wot and rpm switches? Mainly to test and only run it for about a month or so till I get the money

It would be safer with just the 50 shot. But if you run 93 octane and one step colder plugs, like the NGK TR6's, you should be ok. I wouldn't run it up to the redline or spray it too often until you get a nitrous specific tune.

i ran mine without a tune for a while. Took it too the track for quite a few passes and no complaints or problems. I have a window switch as well and as long as you programmed it to spray in a safe range you should be okay

Personally, I wouldn't run nitrous without a tuner and pulling a few degrees of timing.

I have since gotten a tune with timing pulled, however, for MILD/MODERATE usage (i suggest track only) you will be safe for a bit. Like i said before, i have done it without a tune and it worked flawlessly. However, the tune did boost my 1/4 ET
