Default finally got my mustang!

Finally my mustang has arrived its a 2005 v6 sonic blue stang. Its got black leather interior, shaker 1000, and its a stick.

Im turning 17 in July and i cant wait to drive this summer. Still learning how to drive stick, as today was the first time ever driving one.

A few questions
1) my shaker 1000 bass in the trunk is not playing music out of it and im not sure why?not good with wiring.

2) It has a few scratches that i want to get rid of, whats the best way to get rid of them?

were should i start. gonna take off the side stripe tomorrow. just gonna use i blow dryer and peel it, that should be easy enough. Then not sure were to start modding.

well first off, congrats bro. i think you'll be pleased with the s197.
second off, i'm skipping your first question because i am clueless when it comes to electronics.
third off, exhaust, intake and tuners are always great mods

good luck on everything playa

Most auto stores have paint that you can get that matches factory. Those are ok for touch ups in my opinion. If it is too deep you will have to take it somewhere to get the it sanded and painted. I guess that can be done yourself if you know what you are doing, but I would rather have someone else do it myself. As for mods if you are looking for performance the cool air intake/ tuner kits are the cheapest way to get a horsepower kick. If you are going for looks, my first items were wheel caps and window louvers.

On the shaker unit, press the menu button till you get to the sub setting. It may be turned all the way down. If not then check for loose wires, etc.
As far as scratches, if they are not too deep, meguiars scratch-x might take them out. If you can see white primer, then probably need touch up paint. Swapping the exhaust is always a good first mod! Congrats!

A new set of rims would be a good first mod, followed by dual exhaust.

JRamsey9903: I like it a lot. I was coming from the single gt takeoff, and the frpp kit gives it a more refined sound. It has a really sweet rumble at idle, and it sounds amazing when shifting at about 3500 rpm
