Governer stopped it from going faster, I could feel like the car wanted to go more though. No worry though, I will be removing the speed limiter in a few days with an xcal2. I predict I'll wrap myself around a telephone pole soon.

I have gotten to 115-120 with plenty of petal left and plenty of RPM's. I will get an xcal2 and remove the speed limiter when I get to germany to really check it out. That is of course if I dont sell it when I get to germany.

I have been to 120 twice. Once after I put the CAI on just to see if it would peg out the speedometer. The second time was a few weeks later when I got stuck behine two 18-wheelers on the expressway late one night going 50 for about 10 minutes. When the guy in front of me finally moved over, I floored it and did not let off until he was out of sight. When I looked down I was right on 120 (even though it felt like I was doing about 90). That will most likely be my last journey into the 100+ zone. I am too old to go to jail.

Yea, I would agree 120 feels like 90 or less. These cars ride so nice at high speeds. Even with a vert up or down.
I was impressed with the V6 after renting for a week, But cant wait for my GT.

I can't say why, but I've never felt the urge to push mine. Maybe it's because I fairly regularly flog my bikes on back roads well in excess of 100 mph. But the fastest I've had the stang is 80 or so.

Had it to about 115 last weekend on a country backroad before I ran out of room.

Those of you that have had your ride up to 120... did you have an SCT tune remove the speed limiter?

Installed Steeda CAI and removed the speed limiter with xcal2. Had it up to 230 km/h = 142.915374 mph and felt like there was more to give... I started to get scared so I slowed down!

Crawz... that IS quick! Hope you lads doing 120+ have better shoes than stock! Would hate to see a blowout.
