Default Tune recommendations

I've been looking at VMP for a while now for my v6 but I was wondering what everyone else thought about it or other tune companies?

Also how is the customer support with VMP for example if I needed to get another tune down the road.

Also, does dual exhaust conversion require a tune because of the difference in back pressure ?

ive read some issues with justin going on at vmp, IMO bamachips, or evolution are the way to go. and no there is no retuning required for any exhaust changes.

I have never had any problems with VMP. His customer service has been just fine. I use his 93 mileage tune as my daily driver and the car runs HARD. On highway trips I use his 87 mileage tune with 89 octane gas. The best highway mileage with the 3.55s has been 27.6 mpg. With the stock 3.31s I got a best of 29.1 mpg. Whoever you use you will love what the tune does to your Mustang V6. This is the way they should have run from the factory!

I've been happy with VMP's service and performance. Any of the top custom tuners have gotten there for those same reasons so you can't make a bad choice IMO. Going with someone more local is a plus should you end up with one of those rare issues that are hard to troubleshoot.

My issue might be different since i have the xcharger but Justin has been trying to fix a lean part throttle condition for over 8 months on my car. From my experiance Justin takes a long time to retune and i never waited more the 3 days with Bama.

I ordered a C&L CAI/XCal3 from bama this week. Should have it in less than a week. I did it online so I haven't had to deal directly with their customer service. I have heard a lot of good things about Bama.

ur right... there have been a few issues that have risen lately. i'll stay neutral on the subject since i personally have no experience with VMP other than communication with justin on the forums.
