Default My first mods/Cold Air & Exhaust

This weekend I had some fun starting with some basic mods on my 07 v6. I first put in a BBK Cold Air intake. Then put on a Pypes Street-Pro Axle Back Exhaust. I must say that they were both fun and easy to do, each took about 45min-hour to do. The worst part was taking off the stock exhaust.

Now with the Pypes system my car sounds the way it should. I love this kit and for $140 how can you go wrong. It is sweet!

Can't wait to do more. I will try to get some photos up tonight.

Congrats on the install. Be careful - mods can become addicting...

What tune did you load with that CAI? w/o a tune, you're likely to throw a CEL for running lean soon if you haven't already.

A stand-alone CAI will add single digit RWHP. A CAI & tune combo will triple that or better.

1st +1 ^ You may wanna look into a tune

2nd Now that you like the single axle back, how long till you split it with an X and run duals?

3rd For some reason, the link for the pics didn't work for me. It takes you to a site that you need to log into.

I went to their site and they claimed that this intake does not need a tune.

Yeah BBK requires a tune. If you were going with the BBK you should've waited on the axle back and bought a tuner.
