'Stangless no more!
Long story pursuant to the subject matter... but let's say that in a moment of utter senselessness, two years ago I traded in my beloved '04 3.9l 'Stang on an utterly despicable Pontiac G5 GT.
Yesterday.... I redeemed myself but driving this home:

An '05 with 5-speed manual. Pretty much bone stock aside from some window tinting.
Lots of potantial there. ;-)

mmmmm, vista blue with silver stripes. A center fog grill, a lowering kit, 17" silver Bullitt wheels, true duals, GT suspension and brakes, CAI and tune, man, the list goes on and on and on. But the best part ? You started with a great base, a beautiful even as is. Good luck ! Keep the pics of the mods coming ! Welcome back to Mustang nirvana. (a G5? What kind of mods are made for those ? Lighted exhaust tips ?)
Thanks Gang.... Actually, I had a nice Injen intake on the 5 as well as a custom tubes axle back exhaust. What the real issue with that car was that the "German Engineered" Getrag manual trans took a **** on me and it took the dealership TWENTY FIVE DAYS... to fix it. Under power train warranty... but because it was out of the bumper to bumper they refused to give me a rental or a loaner...
Anyhow... enough with that horror story. Actually... had my '04 'Stang been equipped with the manual trans, I probably never would have given it up... but it was killer on gas and with an 80 mile commute and gas up to $4.50 a gallon .... my back was against the wall at 22mpg.
The '04 of course had the CAI, Dual Exhaust.. 17" Bullit wheels and a sweet SCT Tuner.
Dunno what plans for the new ride yet. Was actually kinda funny... I stopped and got oil and filter and an air filter today... figured I would drop the air filter in right there in the parking lot....
Open up the airbox and much to my surprise discover a very nice K&N filter in there.
Hey, that's a start already! :-) I gotta work on the new sig and pic here soon.... avatars... gah... all that stuff. :-)

As to mods... well.... I plan on having it a LONG time... so there's no rush. Perhaps a nice set of GT takeoff duals... I had a Magnaflow... then a Jegs catback on my previous 'Stang. Didn't really care for either. In fact... the very expensive Magnaflow literally FELL APART underneath the car.
True duals... and an SCT tuner and that's about it.

As far as duals, I would suggest getting FRPP set up.
Happy modding!
