For those who have bought shorty headers, how did the 2.5" outlet work with our exhausts? isn't it a 2.25" all the way to the Y for our stock exhaust? I noticed there are headers with 2.25" and 2.5" outlets. Thanks!

So you guys are saying that the cheap stainless steel chinese eBay headers are the same thing as Pypes or BBK?

I believe it's 2.5" on the cat side of the y pipe and 2.25 after. I know on my X pipe from the FRPP kit, it is that way.

I wouldn't say that exactly... but I would say for the price difference, the ebay headers are the best option unless you are really **** about having the best of the best for the sake of saying ' i have X brand headers'. I don't think you would notice a difference between the brand name and the ebay ones.

What about quality of them? How long do will they last and are they prone to cracking?

haven't heard any complaints. But the people that have them could have only had them about 4 years max (start of the 4.0 in the stang in 2005), so that isn't saying anything
