Default New noise. Help.

So I have a new noise and it's a tuffy to track down. It's an intermittent noise as it will go for days without doing it, then all of a sudden there it is. The noise starts at around 45 mph. It sounds like it's coming from the passenger side. It sounds like electrical arcing and sparking. I have pulled the vehicle over while it was making the noise and of course the noise stops. Anyways, I've looked and smelled everywhere and see no signs of arcing or sparking. Any ideas on what this noise is?
Thanks in advance.

I know that our inside door handles (or something on or in the doors) have a tendancy to rattle. Both my door handles will do it randomly, sometimes one side, sometimes the other, occasionally both. And it seems to be speed related where I pick up a minor vibration depending on the road surface. It has a very faint, tinny (sp?) sound. Touch the handle and it goes away.

Thanks for the responses. The arcing noise freaks me out, but I can't smell a damn thing and the car runs fine.
Anybody else?
