My build sheet from Ford came in the mail today. I'm glad I requested it, because it raised some questions regarding exterior paint and interior schemes.

1.) I thought my car was Vapor Silver Metallic, with paint code ZY. Here, it's listed as Vapor Silver Pearl, code PN-3JE. I've NEVER seen this paint code before. The dealership didn't even know what color it really was and just called it "grey". True, in certain lighting it can either look silver, grey, and even whitish.

2.) The interior is listed as "interior upgrade package", but then across the page it says "cloth interior trim scheme". Upgraded from what? It's the bare bones base model cloth package as far as I can tell.

 

I cannot help you with the paint question, maybe Pascal can. But the "IUP" has nothing to do with your seats if I recall. The IUP is the dash trim etc. Is your dashboard silver across the middle? Does your steering wheel have silver accents or is it all black?

The IUP gives you those silver accents.

 

Here's a pic of my dash. Some areas appear lighter than they are due to the strong sunlight, but the top half is black, the bottom half is grey, and the steering wheel is dark grey. Not sure about "silver" accents: you mean the aluminum dash and vents? Then no, I don't have those.

 

Well I see some parts that are in fact the IUP, but I thought the dash was part of that package which you do not have.
