Default OBD Port

I just got my dual interceptor gauges in today and when I went to install them I found a little box already plugged into my OBD port. I'll get some pictures up later tonight, but I think it has something to do with the generic lojack that it came with from the dealership since it has a sim card in it. It has three lights on the front with "O" "G" and "C" right above them. Any ideas? I said screw it and just yanked it out since I want the gauges in there.

Those letters tell you what the SIMM card is thinking. "O"h my God he's looking at me. Don't look back, look the other way and he'll leave you alone. or the "G"ood, he went away, I'm safe now, And the ever popular "C"rap! He's coming back to yank me out! What do I do now!? Now you know what went through the mind of the SIMM card before you yanked it out.

I guess it was a GPS tracker. Here's what it looks like:

It's no longer in my car.

tHATS SOME SECURITY.
Just 'unplugging it" disables it....
I will be checking the OBDII port on every rental vehicle I drive from now on.
Someone left a very valuable piece of equipment plugged into your OBDII port.
More backstory as to how it came to be plugged into your OBDII port??
