I added the Roush Hood Scoop to my 08 V6 and all I can say is "WOW, one hell of a difference." While it is a matter of opinion, IMO, hood scoops add an element of aggressiveness that to me help define mustangs. I have had so many people turn their heads to check out my mustang since adding the Roush Hood Scoop, it's insane. I get endless compliments on it, ranging from people calling my car "a beauty" to saying that is looks "powerful."

So my preference is to have a hood scoop on there. The installation does require that you drill holes into your hood to mount the scoop, which can be a little nerve racking. However, Roush does provide a template for doing the job which makes it very easy.

Good luck on whatever you decide. Your car is a beast either way you go.

I like the clean look personally. But with your other body mods, I say put it back on. The hood looks a little borring compared to the rest of the car.

You can always leave it off for a few weeks and see what you think. Your opinion about your car means more than our opinion about it.

i say black the hood out like a 69 mach 1. I like the looks of the hood scoop but they are all fake except the shaker and a few of the ram air hoods.

Default hood

I voted for no scoop. Im in the group of if its not real then dont add it to the car. I just shake my head when i see the fake hood or side scoops.

scoops look mean and aggressive but i'd really rather have a functioning one. i almost pulled the trigger on a roush a few months back but decided to hold off for a new hood in the future. still not certain on my own plans.
