Would it be possible to take the stock ford auxiliary jack from an 07 or newer and connect it to my 06 ? Also is there a wiring diagram for this ? it doesn't seem as if this is all the complicated but I may be mistaken like I usually am.

I put an Isimple in my ohsix. It rules; best sound quality ever if you're willing to splurge on an Ipod with the standard Ipod hookup, but the Isimple also comes with the standard audio jack as well.

My father has an ohseven vert with the OEM aux hookup, and mine sounds ten times better...

Nope, it requires an 07 and up stereo for the connection to
be on the rear for the AUX jack.
And module reprogramming from the stealership....

The iSimple is know as the worst adapter out there.
They call them iSux for a reason...
Low level sound is low level sound so 10 times better means
he does not have the volume up enough to drive AUX the
input in his ohseven vert. Tell him to turn up the iPod and
turn down the headunit and the music will sound like your iSux.
MP3s are just squashed versions of the true 44kHz CD samling
rate and 128bit A to Ds. Yuck.
BrandMotion FTW.

No, the Isimple kicks ***; the only thing that's wrong with it is that it requires you to flip a switch to use the radio. We've put the Isimple vs. the OEM jack to the test. The isimple wins, especially if you use the Ipod input version. You get an all around better sound quality.

The O'Scope and tone generator would indicate otherwise....

Whatever sounds good to the owner, sounds good to the owner.

I've read some connectors that say it would unplug the cd, making it nonfunctional and some say they can't be controlled from the radio controls

any hints to which do and don't ?

I'm sure 157db will say brand motion is the best lol, any other good ones that don't cost $200
