Any suggestions for good first mods (that aren't too expensive)?

The infamous first mod thread, its all about what youre looking for man... Appearance, performance, handling, ect... What do you feel you need or want the most? Thats where it starts and what you have to ask yourself.

Performance wise a good tune with a CAI is a good start.

Everything else is pretty much personal preference... Look around at sites such as... www.v6mustangstuff.com just to give you an idea of whats available, american muscle aswell... The sky is the limit.

First mod to do ever...

Replace your super long "trying to contact life in another galaxy" antenna. It is a cheap easy fix. Go with like a 14" shorty antenna.

CAI/Tune - $500-$600 bucks

Dual Exhaust - $300 - $600 bucks

Gears/T-Lok (or swap to an 8.8) - $700 - $1000

LCA's, springs, etc... Just do some searching you will find all kinds of mildly prices mods.

There are so many "first" mods that you can do, but as some have said, it's really all in what YOU want first.
Me, I hated the fact Ford didn't put duals on the V6, so that was one of the first major mods I did. I've mostly done appearance mods because my Mustang isn't my DD and when I do get a chance to drive it, it's mostly around town, so I'm not so concerned about performance right now. However, I may get a CAI/Tune soon.

Keep us updated with pictures of your mods.....we like to look and drool!
