ok so im getting gt rears and fronts to upgrade my pony package sways. im also gonna be getting poly bushings as well. i was wondering if the install for the sways is the same for the GT's like this video shows

Should be the same since we have the same suspension pretty much with slight differences, 157dB says the poly bushings for the shifter get rid of some of the play from the shifter. Go to American muscle and look at the installation guide for a hurst shifter/roush and it will tell you how to remove the shifter, at that point you just replace the stock rubber bushings with poly urethane ones. Hope that helps.

Yep, but they leave a lot of good info out.
Its suppost to be a do it your selfer show
but MOTORZ misses the finer points of the installation.
They do most of their mustang projects all wrong...

You can eMail them all day long about their
shortfalls but it falls on deaf ($$) ears...

Um, the no reusing of the one time use hardware just to name one thing......

And nothing about using blue loctite if you dare reuse
the one time use hardware like some forum members recommend doing....

tHE part #s vary per year so the dealership can fix you right up.
I reused the front hardware with a
little under the proper torque but used blue loctite...

I just learned that mid 09 year the front strut to spindle mounting
bolts were changed to a finer thread to be able to be torqued down
more cus the 05s to mid 09s had a slipping problem under high
loads associated with bigger and gripier front tires...
