Default Msd for v6???

Im lookin at a Msd 6AL for my 09 v6 and iv been told sometimes msd doesn do much damage to a car, does anyone no if this is worth buyin???

if you are talking about the coil plug, going by what a friend of mine, who is a ceritfied ford tech sad the OEM coil plug is just fine, aftermarket ones he said has caued issued, the one you mentioned, granatelli and accel's...stick with stock, unless you have a heavly modded motor.

He's not talking about the MSD coil-on-plug replacements (The 4.0 doesn't use coil-on-plug) The 6AL is a capacitive discharge ignition box.

I've heard of a couple people trying CD boxes on the 4.0, but no one reported any real improvement.

The 6AL is designed for distributor engines...
In any case, it's a waste of money on a stock motor.
You don't need a huge spark if you don't have a big amount of gas going in the chamber.
Kind of like killing a fly with a 12 gauge...

screamin demon is good if your FI but for NA its about as useful as a TB spacer
