Default Chirping noise??

Alright long story short...
I was just driving my car and got out and heard a bird chirping... then pulled up to my house and still heard the dang bird chirping... popped my hood and I couldn't pin-point where it was coming from but somewhere under my hood it sounds like a bird is going "chirp, chirp, chirp. *pause for a half second*, chirp, chirp, chirp. *pause*" and so on...

Any idea's what this is/ could be...???

it does this when you are moving only or when your car is off ?

last week I literally had a bird stuck in my grille.... crazy part is, he wasn't there when I parked my car after driving, when I went back there he was. He must have flown very hard in to it.

It does it at idle and while driving. At idle it goes Chirp, chirp, chirp with maybe a very short pause in between eachone (maybe .5-1 second pause then a longer pause for ~1.5 seconds) but while moving the chirps are a lot faster with almost no pause, just chirpchirpchirpchirpchirp...

Belt, pulley or accessory bearing. Eliminate the belt and pulley channels with belt dressing or whatever. Also keep an eye out for the beginning of a water pump leak (or am I talking old school since I can't recall the location of the water pump on a 4.0 S197?).
