Default Straight Pipes?

I am about to get my car back from an accident and am getting the exhaust repaired at the same place i got it done. I had a custom H-pipe with Flow 40s. I want it louder and told the shop i wanted to do straight pipes instead. They of course warned me about the loss of back pressure but i just wanna know how this would sound and if anyone has any other opinions. They said it would be the same price to do the straight pipe as it would to fix the exhaust which has a bent Magnaflow 4" tip and the axle part of the exhaust is bent as well. The price would be just under 200.

My friend has straight 3" exhaust on his pony package, sounds good down low but mid and high don't sound terribly great.
